Pathetic, isn't it? Looks like my keyboard has a "cloning" key I'm not aware of!
Actually, I finally figured it out: when I hit my "back" icon, it takes me back to previous screen AND re-submits the post.
    How annoying is that?
    Apologies to all.

Here's what I wrote when I submitted my petition.

Super-8 film is a stable film format that does not fall victim to the digital format wars....by simply transferring Super-8 film to ANY digital format, Super-8 remains a viable film alternative that complements video rather than compete with it.

Super-8 is experiencing a resurgence due to the internet. Please support Super-8's growth rather than scheduling it's demise.

    -sincerely,

    Alex

    Alex,

You've become the neural network, the Yoda, the virtual consciousness of this forum.

Not only do we all agree with you, you agree now that you agree with yourself. The circle is complete!

In all seriousness, many compliments to you. Your comments are all thoughtful & your experiences invaluable. There are three or four key participants here, & you always hover near the top. Thanks--!

    Well, I've been inspired!

Could you imagine a Presidential Debate where the candidate only had to debate against themselves!

First, you cite your position....then you walk over to the other podium, and marvel at what a great point your "opponent" made at the other podium.

Instead of two debates between Al Gore and George Bush...

Al Gore gets one debate all by himself, and so does George Bush!!!!

    ......Alex, that's a great idea!

    Thank you.

    -Alex
